The new Palma Convention Centre is located just a short distance from the sea. The transfer time from the airport is only 10 minutes, and the famous Palma Cathedral, “La Seu”, is also just 10 minutes away.
<strong>Grand Auditorium</strong>
The Grand Auditorium is the jewel of the building. Designed for maximum versatility, it offers seating for up to 1,978 people, with a 220 m² stage measuring 16 metres wide and 9 metres high.
The Grand Auditorium can be divided into two smaller auditoriums, one with 1,249 seats and the other with 584 seats. Soundproof partitions allow both spaces to be used simultaneously for different events.
The entire auditorium is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including simultaneous interpretation booths and technical control rooms, making it suitable for virtually any type of event, including musical performances, conferences, product launches and more.
Small Auditorium
The Small Auditorium offers seating for up to 462 people and is equipped with the same advanced technology as the Grand Auditorium. It has direct access to the exhibition hall, allowing exhibitions, conferences and all types of events to be combined or complemented.
The two auditoriums can also be internally connected via their stages, creating a unique and exceptionally spacious event venue with a large stage suitable for major product launches and large-scale productions.
Exhibition Areas
The open and versatile exhibition areas provide an efficient setting for all types of trade fairs, exhibitions and events.
The mezzanine level (Expo 2), with independent access from the main lobby, is ideal as an additional exhibition area.

Mezzanine: 700 m² (Expo 2), ceiling height of 7.6 metres
Conference Rooms
The Palma Convention Centre also features two main meeting rooms (Meeting 1 and 2). Each measures 320 m² and features interpretation booths and natural daylight through skylights. Both rooms can be divided into four smaller meeting rooms of 80 m² each. In total, the convention centre offers eight meeting rooms accommodating up to 70 people.
In addition, there are “breakout rooms” (Meeting Rooms 3, 4 and 5) designed for smaller meetings. Each room measures between 60 m² and 150 m² and can be divided into up to 10 conference rooms of different sizes.
There is also an 87 m² multi-purpose area equipped with a minibar, private bathroom and relaxation area. This space can be used in a variety of ways, for example as a VIP area or changing room.
Lobbies
The lobbies throughout the Palma Convention Centre are designed to serve as versatile spaces for exhibitions, coffee breaks, lunches, dinners and other event activities. They are spread across the three levels of the convention centre, with many strategically positioned to provide access to both auditoriums.
The space next to the Grand Auditorium offers a total area of 2,300 m² across all levels. The foyer next to the Small Auditorium has a total area of 1,100 m². Additional halls and foyers are located next to the restaurant and the main meeting rooms, providing a further 1,000 m² of space.
Most of the foyers offer magnificent views over the sea and the Bay of Palma, making them ideal meeting and networking areas within the convention centre.
Dining Facilities
On the ground floor, the convention centre features a 250 m² lounge bar located directly next to the Small Auditorium with direct access from the street. There is also a 620 m² restaurant on the third floor, as well as a spectacular 600 m² open-air terrace offering magnificent views over the Bay of Palma and the sea.
With more than 1,200 m² of dining and hospitality space in total, there is plenty of room to enjoy the flavours of Mallorcan cuisine. It is the perfect complement to any congress, trade fair or event held at the convention centre.
HOTEL MELIÁ PALMA BAY
The adjacent 4-star superior hotel is connected to the Palma Convention Centre by a covered bridge, providing guests staying at the hotel with convenient and comfortable access to the convention centre.
Not far from the hotel is the former fishing village of “Es Portixol”, which has become one of Palma’s must-see areas. Its charming atmosphere is shaped by former fishermen’s cottages that now house a wide selection of modern bars, cafés and restaurants, as well as an inviting seafront promenade perfect for leisurely walks or cycling. Portixol is a popular meeting place for locals and visitors alike, offering an authentic taste of Palma’s Mediterranean lifestyle.
Rooms and Suites
With a total of 268 rooms, including 242 double rooms, 13 junior suites and 13 suites, the hotel is an excellent choice for business travellers and event participants attending conferences and events at the convention centre. Its privileged location also makes it easy to enjoy Palma and the nearby beach, with convenient access to the seafront promenade (Paseo Marítimo) and the historic city centre just a short walk away.
